NRM’s Kikuube District Chairperson Candidate Courts Voters Ahead of Poll

NRM candidate Paddy Kisembo has intensified campaigns in Kyangwali and Kabwoya sub-counties ahead of next week’s Kikuube District chairperson by-election.

National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Paddy Kisembo has stepped up his campaigns ahead of the Kikuube District chairperson by-election scheduled for next Thursday.

Kisembo on June 10, 2026 addressed a series of rallies in Kyangwali Sub-county, where he sought support from voters and outlined his plans for the district.

The candidate met residents in the parishes of Buhuka, Kyangwali, Kasonga and Butole. During the meetings, he presented his manifesto and pledged to improve service delivery and accelerate development across Kikuube District.

His campaign team said the candidate focused on issues affecting local communities and highlighted his vision for the district if elected.

Kisembo was later expected to continue his campaign in Kabwoya Sub-county. He planned meetings with voters in Bubogo, Igwanjura, Kimbugu, Kaseta and Nkondo parishes as he sought to consolidate support before polling day.

The NRM deployed senior party officials to support the campaign.

Among those accompanying Kisembo were NRM Electoral Commission Commissioner Jane Alisemera and the party’s Senior Manager for Mobilisation Sam Eyenga. Several district party leaders also joined the campaign trail.

The party said the presence of senior officials demonstrated its commitment to securing victory in the by-election.

The Kikuube District chairperson by-election has attracted attention as candidates intensify campaigns in the final days before voters head to the polls next week.
