President Museveni has hosted Iranian Ambassador Majid Saffar in Kyankwanzi, discussing ways to strengthen cooperation between Uganda and Iran.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has held talks with the Iranian Ambassador to Uganda Majid Saffar, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between Uganda and Iran.

The meeting took place at the National Leadership Institute Kyankwanzi, where the Iranian envoy paid a courtesy call on the President.

Museveni said the discussions centered on areas of mutual interest and cooperation between the two countries.

The engagement reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts to deepen Uganda’s international partnerships and expand cooperation across key sectors.
