President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary, H.E. Musalia Mudavadi, on Wednesday evening at State Lodge Mayuge, where the two leaders discussed key issues affecting both countries and the wider region.
Museveni said he welcomed Mudavadi and his delegation, noting that the meeting strengthened ongoing cooperation between Uganda and Kenya. “We discussed issues concerning both our countries and the region. I welcome him,” the President stated.
Mudavadi’s visit comes at a time when the two neighbouring states continue to engage on matters of trade, security, regional stability, and ongoing East African Community integration efforts.
The discussions highlight the sustained diplomatic engagement between Kampala and Nairobi as both sides work to advance shared interests.
