The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has strengthened grassroots mobilization in Adjumani District, endorsing General Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the 2031 presidential race.
Supporters and party leaders gathered at Adjumani Leisure Park in Adjumani Town Council to formalize their backing for the initiative.
The political rally drew PLU regional coordinators, community mobilizers, local youth groups, and resident supporters from across the Madi sub-region.
During the gathering, organizers focused on consolidating district support structures and rallying the electorate behind General Kainerugaba's anticipated 2031 candidacy.
Local leaders at the event instructed coordinators to step up door-to-door engagements and build civic networks across village and parish levels to expand the movement's footprint throughout Northern Uganda.
The event concluded with commitments from regional leaders to coordinate follow-up grassroots programs and mobilize civic participation ahead of the next electoral cycle.
