Police Arrest Suspect in Moses Matovu Murder

Henry Basaliza Mutegeki, has launched the grassroots presidential endorsement signature drive in Mbarara District, tasking local mobilisers to target over 20 million endorsements in support of Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 2031 presidential bid.

Veteran Afrigo Band musician Moses Matovu died after a reported confrontation in Kibuli, Kampala, shortly after he left a woman’s residence. Police say a man who had previously been in a relationship with the woman is the main suspect, while detectives continue to establish what led to the fatal encounter.
