The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has intensified its global outreach as Deputy Commissioner for External Affairs Counsel Ronnie Kananura made his first official diaspora visit since his appointment, holding executive talks with the UK chapter leadership to transform Ugandans abroad into active participants in national initiatives.

The London engagement aims to galvanize diaspora support ahead of the chapter's formal inauguration, signaling PLU's international expansion. Kananura, tasked with a global mobilization mandate, echoed PLU Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba's demand for unity from diaspora leadership. He cautioned members that infighting derails collective progress and urged focus on finalizing launch strategies.

Kananura also commended PLU Secretary General Hon. Twalla Fadil, citing operational policies and structural guidance that have enabled international mobilization and institutional efficiency.
UK Chapter Chairman Ismail Wandera pledged readiness, reaffirming the UK chapter's commitment to Gen. Kainerugaba's vision and setting a benchmark for upcoming international tours as PLU scales its external operations worldwide.
