The Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Hon. Balaam Barugahara, alongside the Hon. Minister of State for Public Service, Grace Mary Mugasa, joined Rt. Rev. Bishop Vincent Kirabo Amooti of Hoima Diocese for a special Mass at Namugongo Catholic Shrine.
The event, organized for the Hoima Diocese community living outside Bunyoro, also featured a fundraising drive in support of St. Mary’s Women and Children Specialized Hospital in Hoima.
In a show of solidarity, Hon. Barugahara personally contributed 4 million UGX, while 6 million UGX was donated by the minister on behalf of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, bringing the total contribution to 10 million UGX.
The Mass was dedicated to H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the brave UPDF troops engaged in regional stabilization efforts.
