The Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng has warmly welcomed her appointment as the Lango Subregion coordinator for the Patriotic League of Uganda, expressing gratitude to Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for entrusting her with the role.
In a statement on X, Dr. Aceng stated: “I would like to express my appreciation for the trust and confidence that my brother Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has shown by appointing me as the Coordinator of Lango Sub-Region. I understand the significance of this position and I am committed to ensuring that our team coordinates PLU's activities in Lango and across Uganda with a focus on unity and harmony."
The recent appointments were announced by PLU General Secretary and Member of Parliament for Kasambya County, Hon David Kabanda.
Hon Tonny Ayo has also been appointed as the Assistant Coordinator for the same sub-region, while Joel Maki Omara will serve as the Secretary.
Additional appointments include Emmanuel Oyite as the Publicity Officer, Dr. Lakisa Mercy as the Youth Council Representative, Hon Olobo James Dubai as the Elderly Representative, Her Worship Alwedo Rebecca Ogole as the PWD Council Representative, and Adia Rebecca Moro as the Women Council Representative.
