Kaggwa Made Significant Contribution to Uganda’s Public Sector- Gov’t Mourns Fallen UHRC Boss

The government of Uganda has paid tribute to deceased Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairperson Med Kaggwa describing him as a great pillar in the country's public sector.

Kaggwa died at Case Hospital in Kampala on Wednesday morning. He had been rushed to the hospital following his collapse in the car near Mulago Roundabout as he drove to work.

In a statement Uganda Media Centre Executive Director Ofwono said Kaggwa made a significant contribution to the country's development, especially in the public sector.

Kaggwa once served as Board Secretary Uganda Revenue Authority, CA Delegate and Member of Parliament Kawempe North, Minister for Presidency and East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) representative.
