President Yoweri Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the armed forces has promoted 76 UPDF Officers.
Among them is the Deputy CMI Chief Col Abdul Rugumayo who has been elevated to Brig Gen.
A total of 62 officers have been promoted from Capt to Maj while 13 from Lt to Capt.
"MODVA & UPDF congratulate the officers for the well deserved promotions," Brig Felix Kulayigye the UPDF spokesman said in a statement.
