Former Chief Justice Bart Katureebe has been appointed chancellor of Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
President Museveni appointed Katureebe UMI Chancellor on June 6th, 2021 in accordance with section 30 (1) of the Universities and other Teritary Institutions Act, 2001.
He has been appointed for a 4year contract.
Katureebe retired as Chief Justice in July 2020 after clocking 70 years. He served as Chief Justice for 5years since March 2015.
