The Head of the State House Anti Corruption Unit Lt Col Edith Nakalema has raided the Office of the Prime Minister's Office after being tipped off about the alleged fraud by top OPM officials.

It is said that the government contracted a supplier who took the samples of posho and beans to the President who gave it a green light after seeing the good quality of the food. The supplier then made a quotation that was allegedly altered and inflated by the OPM officials.

When this came to the attention of Nakalema, she immediately swung into action and conducted a spot check yesterday before handing over the officials to CID today.
