Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released the 2025 timetables for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).
This is the second year UNEB will assess UCE candidates under the Competency-Based Curriculum.
Examinations start on Friday, October 10, 2025, with the briefing of UCE candidates. PLE begins on Friday, October 31, 2025, followed by UACE on November 7, 2025.
UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo said heads of examination centres can access the timetables from their school portals.
He added that hard copies will come with other stationery. UNEB said it has printed enough copies for all candidates. Schools must ensure every candidate receives a timetable as part of preparation. Schools should also display the timetables on noticeboards.
UNEB has also provided braille versions of the UCE and UACE timetables for Special Needs Education (SNE) candidates with visual impairment.
