William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, graduated from Yale University on May 19 with a Master of Advanced Studies in Global Affairs.

The royal leader completed the program at Yale's Jackson School of Global Affairs. Yudaya Babirye, Minister for Kyabazinga Affairs, said the achievement will strengthen his development work. "This degree enhances His Majesty's ability to tackle malaria, teen pregnancies, and hydrocephalus," she stated.

The Kyabazinga earned admission through a competitive, merit-based scholarship. He joins an elite group of Yale alumni that includes Nelson Mandela and multiple U.S. presidents.

Prince Wanume Paul, a lecturer at Uganda Management Institute, praised the monarch's dedication. "His pursuit of knowledge proves education transcends social status," he said.

The royal holds an MBA from Coventry University and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Portsmouth. Cultural leaders say his academic journey inspires youth across Busoga.
