Alexandria Kakoma, an honorary queen under Miss Tourism Uganda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma University, USA.
Alexandria is a granddaughter of the Late George Kakoma, who composed the Uganda National Anthem. The honorary queen said she's already doing work in line with the 2023 Miss Tourism theme of 'Greening Tourism' by cleaning a small town in Buddo and planting a tree. She said she wants to promote Uganda in her town and hopefully help in organizing the Miss Tourism Uganda U.S. edition.
The Miss Tourism Uganda 2023 grand finale will be held in September at Kampala Serena Hotel. The pageant is currently looking for the next queen across the regions. Michelle Mrikatete was recently announced as the representative for the Tooro region. Mrikatete, 23, hails from Kabarole district.
