Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has launched a new 10-litre bulk pack under its Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water brand to improve access to affordable drinking water for Ugandans.

The new 10L pack sits between the smaller take-home packs and the larger 20-litre bottles. It offers consumers better value per litre. The recommended retail price is UGX 8,000. The company says the pack targets households and workplaces looking for convenience and cost savings.

Speaking at the launch, Emmy Hashakimana said the company continues to adjust its products to match changing customer needs. Hashakimana is the General Manager of CCBU, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group.

“We are seeing a clear shift towards bulk purchasing as consumers look for value, convenience and fewer store visits. The new Rwenzori 10L directly responds to these insights. It delivers the purity and safety our consumers trust, in a practical format that fits seamlessly into their daily routines.”

Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water is widely known in Uganda for its quality and safety. The company said the new 10L pack strengthens that reputation. It aims to offer a practical hydration option for families, shared households, offices and social gatherings.

Mary Nassali also said the new product reflects feedback gathered directly from customers. Nassali serves as the Commercial Excellence Director at CCBU.

“Every year, we conduct the Marketing Activation Recruitment Week, where employees from different departments go into the market to directly interact with customers. The 10L pack is a direct outcome of these conversations - a product designed around the practical hydration needs of everyday consumers.”

The company said the Rwenzori 10L pack is now available at major retail outlets and distribution centres across Uganda.
