The Commandant of the Military Police Brigade, Major General William Bainomugisha, has charged junior officers undertaking the Platoon Commanders Course to embody unwavering professionalism, diligence, and ethical integrity in the execution of their military duties.
Maj. Gen. Bainomugisha delivered the guidance during a lecture of opportunity to Military Police officers undergoing training at the Military Police Training School in Masindi.

Addressing the officers, the brigade commander underscored that military discipline remains the indispensable foundation of successful unit command, public trust, and operational credibility.
“Discipline holds paramount importance, especially within your professional sphere. This virtue not only commands respect but also shapes the integrity of our work,” Maj. Gen. Bainomugisha stated.
He challenged the course participants to serve as exemplary role models to their subordinates, noting that command positions require clear leadership, moral courage, and decisive tactical judgment under high-pressure operational environments.

During the visit, Maj. Gen. Bainomugisha also commissioned a newly constructed Health Centre III facility at the training school to bolster clinical healthcare delivery and welfare services for both trainees and permanent base personnel.
The engagement was attended by the Commandant of the Military Police Training School, Lt. Col. Bernard Mugwanya, alongside the Artillery Division Political Commissar, Maj. Onesmas Kakuru, and other senior formation officers.
