Museveni Reshuffles Top Bosses at NRM Secretariat

President Yoweri Museveni has made changes in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretariat. 

The changes come at a time when the NRM CEC is holding a two day meeting which started on Saturday, to harmonize with the National Electoral Commission in regards to the revised Roadmap for 2021 General polls. 

In a press statement released by Roger Mulindwa, outgoing NRM Secretariat Spokesperson, Museveni has appointed former Kanungu Woman MP Jackline Kyatuhaire as the Deputy National Treasurer, replacing Dr Kenneth Omona who was recently appointed as the Principal Presidential Secretary.

Hajjat Madina Nahamu has been appointed director finance and Administration, replacing long serving Dr Hassan Galiwango, while former Butaleja MP Emmanuel Dombo as been appointed as a director in charge of Communications at NRM Secretariat, replacing Mulindwa who will now work under him. EALA MP Mathias Kasamba (EALA)  has been appointed as Director in charge of Mobilization.

"CEC continues with the discussion on the NRM Political Roadmap tomorrow (Sunday)  as the approval of new office bearers is scheduled for Tuesday next week," Mulindwa said. 

According to a source, NRM CEC will on Sunday discuss how to allow the 3rd conference meeting to elect presidential party flagbearer before setting up new party leadership structures.
