President Museveni is tomorrow at 8 pm expected to make his 14th address to the nation as the 14day lockdown extension comes to an end on Tuesday.
According to Don Wanyama, the Presidential press secretary, the address will be preceded with a cabinet meeting that will agree on the way forward.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Health did not release results of tested samples following the Presidential directive of only allowing truck drivers who test negative into the country.
“Additionally, all truck drivers must undergo COVID-19 testing and receive results before proceeding to immigration at the borders. Foreign truck drivers who test positive for COVI-19 are advised to return to their place of origin for treatment while Ugandan truck drivers will be admitted at the various hospitals for treatment,” Dr. Mwebesa said.
