Bebe Cool mourns passing of Gagamel singer ShortKut

Singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool took to his Facebook page to mourn the death of fellow crooner Allan Massengere aka Shortkut.

ShortKut, who succumbed to a yet to be identified illness, died on Wednesday, according to Bebe Cool.

The fallen singer had recorded songs with Cool and some other local artistes and one of his popular songs is called ‘Single and Searching’.

He had been battling the illness for the past forty days.

"The Lord has decided my son Allan Massengere should join him in a better place," Cool said in the Facebook post.

"I thank all the doctors and nurses who tried to save his life for the past 40 days. May his soul rest in peace."

ShortKut was Bebe Cool's nephew and a member of his music band, Gagamel.
