MTV Africa Music Awards 2021

Audio streaming giant Spotify announced its launch in Uganda, giving the East African nation access its wide-ranging content platform that includes more than 70 million international and local songs and over 4 billion playlists.

MTV Africa and MTV Base announced the return of the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA), where African culture, music, and creativity will be showcased.

To held virtually in partnership with Uganda, the awards are set for Feb. 20, 2021.
