The East African Community (EAC) applauded the decision by Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to waive visa fee requirements for citizens traveling across their borders.

President Yoweri Museveni on Monday morning arrived in Nairobi for a meeting convened by his Kenyan counterpart and EAC Chairman Uhuru Kenyatta to discuss the security situation in DRC.
