The Chief of Defence Forces of the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, returned to Kampala on Tuesday afternoon following an official visit to Kigali, where had a private meeting with Rwandan President Paul Kagame, who was sworn in for his fourth term on Sunday.

The Chief of Defence Staff of the Rwanda Defence Force, General Mubarakh Muganga, hosted a dinner for a delegation of Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) generals at the Kigali Convention Centre last evening.

Earlier this year, a Ugandan military delegation led by General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defense Forces of the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), visited Moscow, Russia, where they paid their respects at the mausoleum of Vladimir Lenin, the founder of the Soviet Union.
