President Museveni has urged youths in the country to vote leaders who would genuinely listen to their concerns and create lasting solutions to them.

Museveni made the remarks on Thursday as he met music promoter and entrepreneur, Charles Olim aka ‘Sipapa’ at State House Entebbe. The President cordially welcomed the music promoter, although no details have been given on what the two discussed. Museveni however, reiterated that the youths should make it their priority to follow up on the government funds that are disbursed to districts and sub counties throughout the country and ensure that those funds are utilized as intended.

Sipapa's is the latest of the recent meetings the President has had with musicians, socialites and other personalities in the entertainment industry. A few days ago he met recently crowned African Entertainer of the year, Edrisa Musuuza, commonly known as Eddy Kenzo, while yesterday (Thursday) he met Kampala socialite Jennifer Nakanguubi, alias Full Figure.

Last week he appointed musicians; Catherine Kusasira and Mark Bugembe, alias Buchaman as his advisors. Kusasira of Golden Band was appointed Presidential advisor for Kampala affairs, while Buchaman formerly of Fire Base Crew was appointed Presidential advisor in charge Ghetto issues.
