Nathan Magoola Lands New Multichoice Deal as Prestige Comes to an End
Nathan Magoola, the filmmaker behind the sensation TV series Prestige, scored another deal with Multichoice Uganda.
Magoola told the actors and the rest of the team involved in the production of the TV series which is now in its third season, that the show won't be having another season.
Prestige, which airs on Pearl Magic Prime on DStv and GOtv, revolves around two sisters running advertising firms that are competing against each other.
Some of the notable actors that have featured on the show are Nana Kagga, who left after the first season and got replaced by Elizabeth Bwamimpeke, Cleopatra Koheirwe and Raymond Rushabiro.
However, this reporter has learned that Nathan Magoola, who produces the show, is set to announce a film deal with Multichoice though details are still scanty.
The new deal will see Magoola retain some of the production crew and actors, according to sources.
Multichoice has in the past few years invested heavily in creation of Uganda-made content, hiring both seasoned emerging talent.
