When Spice Diana left the studio after recording her 2022 hit single ‘Siri Regular’, while she could tell it was a good song, she didn’t see it becoming a smash hit.

The song, which was produced by Brian Beats and written by Nince Henry, has already racked up over 2.1 million views on YouTube.

"It was on my Star Girl EP [Extended Play, or mini album]... personally I didn't see this song becoming a huge hit though I knew it was a good song. But Roger [Lubega, her manager and founder of Source Management] saw something in the song. Because I have many good songs with Nince Henry. When Nince touches a song, he does his best... Every day it's like a new song, but I didn't see it reaching this level. It's not one of those songs I was sure about, but Roger saw that,” Diana said while speaking to Spark TV.

"He even dared me for a bet like we usually do... It was until I performed it at concerts that I realized it was a hit.”

On inspiration, she said: “Everyone wants to be perceived as a great person... you are boasting about what you have... When you are in love, there is a way you look at other people... it carries a message about a lot of things... A person bragging about their life will find meaning in the song, even mothers, even singles will find inspiration... Nince Henry is such a genius by the way.”

She said some fans who have been inspired by the lyrics of the ballad have made her a number of offers, including one who told her to sleep in her apartments for free. Bebe Cool also named the song in his 2022 list of top songs.
