Self-exiled Author Kakwenza in Gross Sexual Abuse, Exploitation Shame

Ugandan author Kakwenza Rukirabashaija has been embroiled in a gross sex scandal that has hit international heights. Kakwenza, who fled to exile in February 2022 after he was released from jail for maliciously insulting the President, has been pinned on the cross for sexually abusing women both in Uganda and Europe where he is holed in.

Since fleeing to exile [in Germany], Kakwenza has been seeking international sympathy in his ‘blind’ call for social justice alleging that he was mistreated and tortured while in jail in Kampala.

Like they say “he who seeks equity must come with clean hands,” Kakwenza has come under the eye of the storm for allegedly manipulating women, dragging them to his bed for unprotected sex which has on several cases resulted to pregnancies-for which he has bluntly denied, leaving the victims to wallow in emotional depression short of support and care from the married Kakwenza.

The harrowing revelation of Kakwenza’s sex escapades was first brought to light by another self-exiled government critic and Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) member, Stella Nyanzi who parabolically posted on Facebook how her married friend is having unprotected sex with other women who are not his wife.

Now, the former Communications officer of Bobi Wine, Anne Whitehead, also a UK based communication specialist has unmasked the monster in Stella Nyanzi’s post and revealed that she has got confessions from several victims who have been sexually abused and exploited by Kakwenza. She posted on social media expressing her disappointment with Kakwenza who claims to fight for social justice for all, yet he cannot take responsibility of the women he sexually abuses, impregnates and abandons in the cold.

“Because you abandoned all the women who had your children so now they have to become single mothers without any support from the father? This is not a flex. I have said to you before as your friend, but your social justice advocacy has a massive misogynistic blind spot. The more I learn about how you continue to treat women, the less I want to be your friend,” the post reads in parts.

She continues, “…I choose solidarity with mistreated women over whatever you claim to stand for. If your idea of social justice does not include women, then you are not truly for social justice. You are really just out for yourself.”

In the subsequent Twitter posts, Ms Whitehead says how she is saddened to learn how Kakwenza whom she supported in his quest for social justice is manipulating and abusing women.

“It’s sad. I supported Kakwenza because of what he has been through with torture, but now I have learned of many women he’s been manipulating & abusing. I can’t support that. My solidarity remains with the victims. It’s not easy speaking out on these things, but sometimes we have to,” she said.

“Not just sexual harassment - which he has been doing online for all to see - but also several forms of exploitation, compulsive lying, gaslighting, emotional abuse & abandonment of women whom he’s impregnated. That’s as much as I know so far. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more.”

She revealed how Kakwenza blocks his victims on all communication channels after impregnating them.

“So now one of Kakwenza’s victims tells me he’s blocked her before she even says a thing Preventative measures? Many women (& men who know them) are contacting me with their stories - more than I knew before this - but they all hesitate to speak out since the blowback is severe,” Whitehead tweeted.

She added that Kakwenza has been doing the same even in Europe. In response, Kakwenza denied the allegations, but proceeded to block Ms Whitehead on all his social media platforms.
