The Uganda Police Force has enhanced its online application process for Certificates of Good Conduct, reducing the processing time from seven working days to five. The cost of obtaining a Certificate of Good Conduct remains 76,000 UGX, with additional charges of 2,300 UGX for bank payments or 3,700 UGX when using Mobile Money (MTN).

To assist applicants facing challenges with the online process, a dedicated customer help desk is now available at the Interpol Office, Kololo, located on Plot 12, Mabua Road. Applicants can also seek help via email at Interpol@upf.go.ug. The public is urged to avoid using brokers or middlemen when applying for the certificate.

How to Apply

The online process involves registering on the Uganda Police website, completing the application form, paying the required fees, and scheduling a fingerprint capture appointment. The Certificate of Good Conduct is valid for six months from the date of issuance, providing a streamlined and efficient process for Ugandans.
