DKT Healthcare Uganda has introduced a new condom variant dubbed Kiss Extra Time, which has been designed to prolong sexual performance.

Kiss Extra Time condoms also "provide a more satisfactory experience for couples," said Queen-Amina Boibaku, the country manager of DKT Healthcare.

The non-profit organization, which was founded in 1989, deals in cost-efficient products that protect users against unintended pregnancies, STIs and HIV. The Kiss Extra Time condom comes with a unique delay lubricant that acts a mild and temporary numbing agent for the man to help him last longer and delay climax.

"We constantly strive to innovate unique products to improve the well-being and intimate health of our customers," said Boibaku during the launch of the condom at the organisation's office in Nakasero, Kampala on Friday morning. "In order to meet the evolving needs and desires of our valued customers and because we understand that many couples seek ways to extend their moments of intimacy for mutual satisfaction and pleasure, we beleive that Kiss Extra Time provides the perfect solution."

DKT also announced the launch of 'Extra Time for Extra Pleasure', a new campaign aimed to celebrate the diverse needs of intimate connections. Through the campaigns, people will learn more about the new condom, how to correctly use all the condom variants to increase sexual pleasure, and prevent sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies.

"Through engaging facts informative discussions and exciting giveaways," said Queen-Amina Boibaku, "we hope to ignite conversations around the importance of sexual well-being and encourage couples to explore endless possibilites that Kiss Extra Time offers."

The condom is now available for Shs2,000 in drug shops and pharmacies countrywide. Away from Kiss Extra Time condoms, DKT Healthcare Uganda also has other variants namely: Kiss Passion Fruit, Kiss Strawberry, Kiss Classic, Kiss Chocolate and Kiss Studded.

Kiss condoms are designed for "everyone", said Boibaku. Dr. Moses Okello, a programs manager at DKT, said one of the reasons they introduced different scents is to fight the stigma around purchasing condoms and spice condom use with lifestyle flair.
