Recently, concerned citizens launched a social media campaign highlighting the sorry state of several Kampala roads, which they said are responsible for the unending traffic and in some cases, accidents.

The KCCA ED thanked the General for his courtesy visit and concern and expressed optimism that the General, in his capacity as Presidential Advisor will support KCCA efforts in revamping the road network in Kampala.

Gen Kainerugaba has on several occasions expressed concern about the poor state of roads and sewerage system, saying in one of his tweets that he would soon fix the ‘Kampala mess’.

“I have received all your videos of the floods in Kampala yesterday. It is a terrible embarrassment for our country that we cannot organise the infrastructure of our capital city! But its no longer surprising. Let the children of the Revolution manage things and see the difference,” Gen MK tweeted earlier this year.Mk
