Online music platform Tusker Malt Conversessions has cut out a niche for serving exclusive live music performances and hearty conversations. Iconic music duo, Benon and Vamposs, known for their powerful presence in the early 2000s, have made a rare regrouping and are set to feature in the March episode.

Hailing from the musical corridors of Namasagali College, the duo, consisting of Benon Mugumbya and Vamposs real names Elvis Kirya, are set to take fans on a nostalgic journey with their chart-topping hits like Mumulete, I Know, My Lady, and Nsazewo. Benon Mugumbya, a highly respected music producer and co-founder of Swangz Avenue, a prominent record label, joins forces with Vamposs, a reggae and dancehall sensation, now known as Vampino in his solo career.

The Tusker Malt brand considers it a privilege to host these two music maestros, as they represent a vital piece of Uganda's music history. In the words of Roy Tumwizere, the Tusker Malt Brand Manager, "We are thrilled to have Benon and Vamposs on the Conversessions.

This episode is not going to be just a performance, it’s a trip down memory lane while we uncover everything there is to know about the duo.” “This episode promises to be a celebration of their craft and the timeless music that has entertained us since the early 2000s,” he added.

Their episode will go live on both the Tusker Malt Lager and show producers Swangz Avenue’s YouTube channels on Sunday, March 3. As you await to relive music from some of the architects of Uganda’s contemporary music industry, you can catch all the previous acts on YouTube.

Kenneth Mugabi’s Afropop ballads session is the most recent upload and it is very relevant in this month of love.
